If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric: We suggest a medium weight french terry or sweatshirt knit.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.75 yards for sizes up to 9-12M, 1 yard for sizes 12-18M to 5-6T. - Knit fabric for waistband and armbands. We suggest a medium weight jersey or rib knit. You can usually use your main fabric as well.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.12 yards for all sizes - 7 sets of snaps: We suggest size 14 (aka: 5/16 or 8mm)
- 26 of drawstring: Anything will work. We like using a 1 wide piece of knit fabric.
