If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric for pants. Most medium weight knits will work.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes to 12-18M, 0.75 yards for sizes 18-24M to 5-6T - Knit fabric for waistband and cuffs. Cotton/lycra jersey works well, or a lightweight rib knit.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for all sizes. - 1 yard of drawstring. We like using a 1 wide piece of knit fabric.
